Mark R. Lezotte is a member of the SourceAmerica Board of Directors and serves as Chair.
Lezotte is currently a shareholder practicing in Butzel Long's Detroit office. He has substantial experience in corporate, healthcare, tax, and exempt organization matters, including corporate and nonprofit governance, business transactions, tax exempt issues, and regulatory investigations. Lezotte was also General Counsel for a nonprofit healthcare system in the Detroit area.
He served on the National Board of Trustees of United Cerebral Palsy from 2010-2016 and chaired its Public Policy Committee, helping lead UCP's efforts in national disability policy and advocacy. He also served as a UCP Representative in collaboration with other national disability organizations. In addition, he has served on several local boards including Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service, Metropolitan Affairs Coalition, Southwest Consulting Solutions, and YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit.
Lezotte was recognized with both the Best Lawyers in America Award and the United Cerebral Palsy Chairperson's Award. He holds a J.D. from Michigan Law School and a bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross Business School.
Lezotte is a performer with A (Habeas) Chorus Line, a musical parody and satire troupe composed of all lawyers. The troupe has been together for 25 years and has performed more than 150 shows at venues throughout Michigan and around the country.
